@rev_alation Strange how a company like Getty images has to pay for the images and get permission for the art on their site, but you think it's fair that an ai company can scrape Getty Images' website and pay for none of the images to train their ai.
Have you ever read a comic book or graphic novel? Or watched an animated movie or tv show?. It's easy to think art is just some 10 million dollar painting sitting in a museum made by elitist artists but there's all kinds of art around you, being enjoyed by the masses, made by middle class artists that have a 9 to 5 like everyone else. And what you are advocating will reduce the money they make down to zero.
