@stdjsWhen you stand out publicly and you argue that people who fell for a scam or were taken into a cult or were guided by AI, you are making statements that indicate that you believe you are safe. When you start to assume mental superiority over someone because they were manipulated, you begin to internalize the idea that you are immune and any decisions you make are sound. A lot of people who end up in cults like Scientology are people who think that they are immune to propaganda. All it takes is someone playing into your security, telling you that you're smart and you're better and you make the right decisions is going to have a much easier time getting what they want from you. It's the sort of thing that gets people tricked by AI, the idea that they are smart enough to know better if something was problematic
