I think part of it is that with the rise of the Internet and this feed of constant perfection, when it comes to images of everything, that people start to look at their own self-worth their own stuff, that they make, and think that it’s horrible in comparison. because they’re comparing themselves to people who have years of experience and degrees and worked really hard to get here. And because they’re not automatically good at something they give up on it. It’s kind of this burnt out gifted kid idea that because you were so good at everything if you have to try really hard at something, you’re not good at it, which isn’t true.
