He has studied, worked and lived in America, worked with Americans, also at Google. The big American tech companies for years already, deploy and develop the AI technology he and his students helped create. Also, Musk for example is not a native American, so why does it matter? It's about the motivations of the frontier AI tech companies to not regulate themselves, which is extremely dangerous- the tech CEOs openly admit the danger.
