@prasdud I hope so, but I do not believe it. The only thing that's not giving chatgpt the opportunity to operate independently (for writing code) is its inability to grasp the whole context (for example, large project with many requirements). With the pace of development of AI, I think software engineering will not be a thing (for humans) in 10 years max (I think earlier). And I do not envy those who are just entering the field, because they have to race against AI, as lower-skilled programmers will fall first.
