Oh, I know a good example.... Photoshop !
The exact same program, first released in 1990, compared to today in 2025. A lot has changed in 35 years.
Let's say you wanted to take a photo of some tourist attraction, but without all of the tourists.
*Old photoshop ~* shoot a burst or timelapse, dump the stack into layers, mask out the tourists frame by frame, then blend the clean bits together until the scene looks empty.
*Current photoshop ~* select the "remove this from image" tool, and circle the thing you want removed. Let the AI do the rest.
Using AI feels like cheating. But work smart, not hard.
