@lentilpatient406 trying to make it about race is what muddies the water. I'm against AI and those who use it because it devastates the environment and takes human jobs. Clanker is a joke term. It does not denegrate the struggles of black people, or any other minority group. It has since the conception of the word, been a way to denegrate fictional "droids"- artificially intelligent robots. This is not about race. If you want to talk about racial issues there are bigger fish to fry than "waaaah he said a word that ends in 'er'". Do not co-opt real world issues like racism into "the clanker debate". It simultaneously grants true slurs more power by suggesting words that even sound like them should be feared, and brings genuine racial issues down to the level of memes. I understand you want to fight for justice or whatever. Fly your flag high and with pride. This is not the grand issue you're looking for.
