@TurdFergusen The manual says, "When a collision is considered unavoidable, Automatic Emergency Braking is designed to apply the brakes." I mean, The feature we're talking about is literally called, Automatic Emergency Braking.
I agree there are situations where the user should be able to override AEB, like in an attempted carjacking. I think that's why the manual also says AEB won't work if the user "accelerates hard".
My problem is that people testing AEB on youtube have had a lot of failures trying to get it to work. And I want to know why so I can be sure to drive in a way that I know AEB has my back.
