@theodddinosaur3365 very true. I encourage you to look into ethically trained AI, as well as the actual power consumption of AI compared to other useless things we use more frequently every day.
For example, if people would stop or at least slow down on eating red meat or drinking milk, not only would it outweigh the costs of AI, it would offset much of the global energy usage, carbon and methane emissions, and free up massive amount of land used for inhumane cow farms which could otherwise be used to build homes or green energy plants.
