@user-cx6pw6mf9h it's honestly not about being dumb, it's about whether or not they want to open the hole for allowing this kind of thing to be predominant within warfare. We already have drones, we already have drone pilots, we have facial recognition, hell we're on the advent of AI... you seriously underestimate how much power some of these groups have and what they feasibly could get away with if not wipe under the rug. Hell, the whole Snowden whistleblowing incident was a miracle, in my opinion, given the amount of sacrifice someone had to take in order to let such info be publicly known.
Long story short it's a plausible and that's all it takes for someone to go through the effort to make it a reality.
