@MylesJoinsTheGame where do you think real artists get inspiration for their own art? Our brains take in other works and then create "original" pieces. But when an AI does it, it's "stealing". Stifling the AI art scene with these conservative views is so frustrating. Creating incredible AI art via prompts may take less time than physically painting something yourself, but both still take effort and learning a new skill. A well trained ai art prompt creator will be a sought after talent soon. Also, nearly all new technology saves the user time, just requiring a different skill set to master. Ai art is no different, and shitting on it is sad to me.
