1. Yes, darker people absorb more light and this DOES skew results - but this flaw should be fixed
2. It's got nothing to do with cameras or lenses - facial recognition is an AI functionality, and so it is up to a programmer to add corrective code that takes the darker skin into account - somebody has to create it. If there is no demand for this correctional code, then it will not be made
3. People that have no issue with misindentifying black people (for example, cops) are not going to ask for any corrective software to fix the software, and so it isn't going to change
4. Facial recognition was designed for use in videogames so lawmakers and cops are actually retarded
