It should be used in medical diagnosis and in managing patients medications especially the elderly. I really did use grok AI and saved my mom's life. She's 92 and in a nursing home. She's always been mentally well and able to get around. But she was having a lot of problems with her hearing and eyesight and controlling her diabetes.
Once she got into a nursing home because of a stroke... She came into the nursing home on all kinds of new medications when her entire life she only took a few. So she's on about nine medications and then between her cardiologist and a nursing home doctor and my mom's constant need for attention and complaining,,, they pretty much loaded her up on medications and switch them up. Anyway over about 3 months she was getting worse and kind of losing her memory really going downhill and then her legs swelled up three times a size and she's never had any of that type of problem. I got her medication list took pictures of it five pages and loaded those pages to grok and ask him to make a listing of it.
Then I told grok what had happened with my mom over the past 3 months and was there anything on the medication list that would cause it?
Immediately AI picked out the medication that caused it and explained exactly why it was causing each of the symptoms and major downhill shifts in my mom's condition.
the first medication pulls fluid from your blood and pools it into your lower extremities and it was exactly what had happened to my mom and the nursing home doctor had put her on this medication It was an added medication We didn't know about. So using AI I read about the medication and made an appointment with her cardiologist the very next day but those doctors are also worthless and said they only look at cardiology drugs not anything else within a week she was back in the hospital and critical.
She had a huge buildup of a cardiac drug because of the new diabetic drug she had been put on and so she was put on a drug to remove the cardiac drug from her system. She was in the hospital 8 days I believe and put on all different drugs.
Grok was 100% correct and I highly recommend it for double checking your medications.
I think the medical field really is the best use for AI
It's very creepy that doctors will put you on these drugs and then watch the exact reaction from the drug that can kill you and not even be aware that they should have been looking for that anyway.
The drug specifically has a warning that it is not to be used with the elderly.
