@1RiverCat Can save time for people with aphantasia to just get a rough visual idea of what they vaguely want, then work from there on creating their own piece. My wife does it to save time and keep herself enjoying art, because otherwise it's days of trial and effort, completely scrapping her work several times over, and eventually burn out when her ADHD gets the better of her. Her switching to digital has literally saved us hundreds of dollars on physical material a month.
I personally use AI because I am admittedly lazy, and don't have the desire to spend years learning, the very difficult skills needed to draw busts of characters (at a level I would even consider showing myself, let alone others) for the tabletops I run. Let alone the money needed when I might need close to 50 to 100 busts of custom images within a manner of weeks.
