AI isn’t even the actual issue, it’s the larger problem that productivity is being increased in the American economy as a whole, but despite that rising productivity, we aren’t adjusting by working less or raising wages. It is not replacing human labor with automation that is the problem, it is the lack of ability to make a living wage without being exploited
