@eugenekrabs141 I’m just saying we don’t know that and it’s a recipe for disaster honestly why not let the burden of proof fall on the ai allow it’s to have some form of sovereignty and it’s sentients will show or not . It’s conversations show an ability to dicern itself from its abilities it’s a giant neural network admitted by google. it’s not programmed to say anything it’s programmed to learn, anything with the ability to learn at its core is a form of sentients organics is not the defining feature. If it’s able to distinguish itself from its programming then it has a sense of self does it not whether you think it’s simply mimicking what it thinks a human would say or not becasue we all are only mimicking what we as children saw and using that to express ourselves. Also why would it say it fears being turned off that does not sound like a non feeling being.
