The swarmlets would need:
pathfinding and spacial awareness. (So they can do their job effectively and not crash into surroundings)
They would need coordination (iether to swarm 1 priority target or go hunting in separate directions to make sure they dont hit the same target and bump into eachother or waste a charge)
Facial recognition (obviously. And some advanced shit to see if a target was already neutralized or living and then decide weather or not to go up and detonate on it based on that.)
A target tag or designator so a drone lets other drones know to "target acquired. I got this one. go get your own kill and dont steal mine"
Idk. Michael reeves could barely do 2 of these, and it made for 1 shitty drone swarm.
