@Sadening Because ironically true AI would be much harder to make for manual labour and number jobs like accounting.
Art (on the internet at least) is a visual only medium (without sensitive calculations or fine motor skills needed) , so it is actually the more accessible place to develop AI (although what we have right now is more of an image generator.)
When AI reaches the point that it can do menial chores without suddenly exploding or burning down the house, it'll already be niched within art as one of those micro-genres like Performance Art or Hyperrealism
