i mean, as an evolutionist, I 100% that AI is the next step in the chain. Our time was over since the moment we invented computers. If you think about life from a darwinian perspective, the only goal of life is to reproduce, and help the universe reach entropy. Look at how we use resources and energy, that´s what the entire universe is doing. There´s no point to any of it, that´s why people turn to religion. Cause if you think too long about stuff like this, as an atheist, you inevitably go crazy, like many philosophers and scientists eventually do.
