@sw4gtastic891so, "AI artists", or whoever uses this technology, are lazy bums and generally despicable persons. Got it. BUT, if real artists were paid by AI companies, AI would be great! Totally!
It's never been about morals, laziness of whathaveyou. It's always been money, wasn't it? Exactly as i laid out.

Deepseek is opensource, and i believe i recently heard microsoft making their own tools opensource but i could be wrong about the company. If chatGPT started to charge for every use it would quickly be abandoned for other options, since it being free is the whole reason it's succesful. I'm starting to see a trend here, artists being mad about a market they fundamentally don't understand and don't want to adapt to. Scary stuff being an "artist"!
