But a lot of AI models do copy it directly. You can literally see watermarks from the original artists in some of the images. Not to mention, there's a huge difference between something a human does and something a machine does. Generally speaking, you can't sell a photo of someone without their permission, but you can sell a drawing of someone without their permission. Humans and machines are not the same, legally or logically.
