@KukiolStuff Yes, the cheff is the ultimate creator, yes, knowing the craft makes one able to understand what to ask of the workers, still its the cheff that creates. Just like an veteran artist is best equiped to use AI art. No tool knows anything, neither does the AI, as much as the AI can replicate images it knows not what it is at any level, as you said, its not conscius.
So no, AI its not the artist, the tool dosent do anything on its own, it has no imagination nor creativity, its the prompter that has his idea and seeks to use AI to replicate it. Like a photographer than must arange the seting for the camera to take the shot, the AI artist must describe what he desires to replicate, select the model for ethe desired result, and even make manual changes to make it closer to the piece in mind.
Thats the thing you keep ingnoring, it does need input, and that makes the diference.
At least you see it as art alrerady.
