That's every company, if you can pay for human workers or have AI or robots that cost like a dollar per hour of labour in a competitive field, which one would you choose? If you don't go with that, you are going to get crushed by your competitors who will gladly save a ton of cash with AI.
That's why you need UBI.
This is just the beginning, humanoid hardware is becoming extremely cheap (20k-ish $) the moment AI gets good enough to control these humanoids, it won't just be knowledge work that is going to be automated.
