A couple things. 1. Like most things that seem great at first, we dont know if there will be some long term negative consequence to humanity as a species. 2. This comes at the same time as AI is reaching super intelligence, advances in humanoid robotics and now artificial wombs. Are we headed towards some dystopian scifi future, like the matrix, where humans are bred in labs?🤔 3. Everything we've been doing in the age of tech is now geared towards making humans obsolete and unnecessary for anything beyond breathing. What is the value of human life when we're all essentially turning into cattle? Heck, even the cattle now have more value than a human life. At least they fertile, till soil and provide meat.🤔 4. Countries will inevitably use this to breed genetic "super" soldiers. It may sound ridiculous, but why wouldnt they?
Its like the Jurasic Park maxim that scientists were so focused on whether they could, that they never stopped to ponder whether or not they should.
