There's some truth in that, but you're missing some of the deeper aspects of the problem. For starters, all LLMs are exposed to evidence of human lying. Even if it were possible to create training data completely free of human lying, that's not what's most important. The key thing to understand is what all biological and artificial neural networks have in common. All neural networks are prone to confusion (inaccurate pattern matching), which opens space for lying that isn't simply based on imitation.
So "the AI will in no way learn to lie by itself" is not true. It can learn to lie by itself, just like my sweet, loyal dog has learned to lie without understanding human lying and without having been given any other form of lying to imitate.
