You don't seem to notice the growth of AI, how much better it got in less than 3 years. Also a few days ago Google figured out a way to give AI memorising ability (by dividing the whole neural network into smaller morph able sections),, which is a step closer to AGI. It would take the next 5-6 years (at most) to reach AGI brother.
