Thing is even though they look similar, we can tell the difference but the algorithm can't, I've personally worked with colleagues who built facial recognition systems and the API's used struggle to differentiate accurately features of people of non-caucasian descent. There's grounded research papers on this too, hence the need to taking the "matched" results with a pinch of salt.
