The only commonalities they have is that they were frowned upon by a small portion of the industry. That's it. AI art doesn't make art accessible to everyone because it already is. Digital Painting software's were engineered to allow artist create without bothering to purchase expensive traditional tools. And if they don't have a PC or laptop to access those, they can resort to similar apps seen on their play store. Learning the discipline is made easy also with the help of the internet. People just say it's too time consuming because somehow they don't understand that art requires muscle memory and just plain having fun. It's also stupid and insulting for people defending AI to say that it's for the benefit of the disabled also when, I, including many disabled individual in the community, can do it still.
