You are conflating consciousness with intelligence. And also conflating intelligence with consciousness. And misunderstanding what AGI is. AGI is artificial general intelligence defined as artificial intelligence that mimics human intelligence. Whether consciousness is required to achieve AGI is still up for debate. Animals are conscious but you can't say they have human-level general intelligence.
