This is what I do, work in pathology in the labs specifically with human tissue for cancer and benign lesions. There are some AI technology/automation coming through but not many employed in uk and you still need people to load the machines and take specimens away. There's no machines to dissect and report cases as cell amd tissue changes are complex and would need many algorithms to diagnose. There are tracking machines to load blood samples for testing and they give out results but still need people to load them on to the machines and maintain them etc.
