They’re suing because chat gpt is scraping copyrighted articles from their work and using it for themselves. “Also New York Times charges such a tiny amount for journalism so they can keep doing journalism” and so when gpt comes and steals their hard work and scrapes it onto their AI and doesn’t cite where they got it from. It’s plagiarizing their work.
