You have to admit that one requires skill and effort while with AI you can just throw money at it with little to no skill. It made things so much easier so more people can do it. A guy learning photoshop and trying to find videos and pics that are compatible enough to replace the actual pic of some girl is going to take a lot of time and effort. Meanwhile, AI can do that better in seconds.
