@willowstarfruit12345 if I told you to draw something, and you did, it would be rude of me to reduce it to "well you just followed instructions." You did the thing.
The programs are "working" it's doing exactly what it's programmed to do. If you actually met a sentient computer would you get bothered by it being able to complete a task in seconds? Because that's what they'd do. They're also very analytical so of course theyre an extreme case of using volumes of source material to create art. Humans do the same, and when they're young its usually bad looking. But they get better. This is like the AI equivalent of the "this is my OC" phase
I genuinely think we will soon witness these AI art generators just start abstract art pieces without input. I think it would be better to just be approving of it instead of dismissive.
