Yeah. Because that’s what this is. Yudkowsky is the one who did a sort of Streisand effect for the basilisk when a user on his LessWrong forums first came up with it.
It’s really not great that anything Yudkowsky writes is being taken seriously and being introduced to more people! Not because I like AI but because I really don’t like his culty Rationalism stuff.
