Once the AI decides you're not white enough, or not male enough, or not young enough, or don't have the right ratio of employed years to age, or whatever other stuff it's hallucinated on top of all that, then it will reject you for all companies who use it.
There's no more random variablity between companies, it's just a valve that's either open and you get unimpeded access to the jobs market and think everything is ok, and the next day you have zero access to the jobs market because you crossed some threshold on some criteria that you have no way of knowing, but seems an awful lot like age discrimination.
The only companies that will give you the time of day are either the ones that reach out to you, or the ones that do not use AI recruiting. And those companies are a tiny fraction that keeps getting smaller.
