@VforVirtual i would personally say art is partly about how you create it but i do agree that talent/effort shouldnt be a metric for what is art. i think choice is a decent metric though, the amount of choices you made in art determine how much of a creator you are in the piece. Even in art pieces that are made by natural processes or randomness, the artist usually purposely chooses to let go of control and choice. usually, art artists make a minimal amount of choices through a prompt, and let the machine do the rest of the choices, but this is not a concious decision the ai artist makes, it's just a limitation of the medium. A limitation which is not really embraced or even admitted by ai artists.
