I do this at work. A lot. I get a lot more done than my coworkers. By the time I’m finished writing up a prompt, it will be a page to several pages long. It still saves me time because the code written by the AI is less likely to have errors and is more likely to catch edge scenarios that I wouldn’t have considered the first time around and would have only caught after debugging the application live. So it does take less time than writing the code myself, most of the time, but in the long run, it saves me a lot of time due to the errors I don’t make.
