Really? saying ai can actually do art is sad see my other reply on this comment and it might explain to you why that's not true and for the love of god there is so much that goes into art beyond what you see on the paper and non-artist don't even understand half the stuff that is on the paper. most artist already don't believe in tracing so weird you bring that up, references are ok because if its other peoples art your referencing its usually for the practice that will give you and/or the artist of the reference art is given credit to and/or your not copying reference art completely, fanart is fine because the only thing the artist is really copying is the subject of what they are drawing, tbh not sure what character fusions or style studies are but character fusions sound similar to fanart and style studies sound like its for studying purposes and/or they have permission from whatever artist they are studying from. and ai art 100% looks fake and soulless and is.
