sheesh why don't yall get it. All art forms are expression that includes expressing emotions, talent, and what not. What makes art, art is hard work, meaning, creativity, and human mistakes. Japanese style is a weird way to say anime but its not copying or stealing in the same way music genres or genres in general isn't stealing, its not stealing because you put your own spin on it or in art's case putting your own art style on it, and anime is more of a guideline than an art style. and I think ai does point to human insecurities but not to artist, rather the people who call themselves artist just because they can type in a prompt, these ai "artist" are insecure or jealous of their peers artistic ability, if this were not true yall would not call yourselves artist. Another point I want to make is ai cannot innovate, you say nobody would draw in an anime style unless people have been doing it for decades I am sure you know what is wrong with that statement but if you don't Ill explain it, anime would not exist if someone never innovated and drew it for the first time, and that first anime artwork was innovated upon by others and is still being innovated upon. Ai on the other hand can only get worse without real artist, because if no more real artist existed or not enough to be significant in ai databases ai would only copy other ai's mistake whether that mistake be in the biology or the countless other things artist take into account. two more things I'm gonna just explain half-assed is that ai is stealing because artist aren't giving ai permission to use their art or style to create new images, and ai is stealing ideas whether that be in the coloring, linework, design, and various other things. that the ai uses to create an image that the ai "artist" sure as hell isn't including in the prompt because non-artist really have no clue how much skill and creativity go into art.
