Exactly, they are just coping because just asking AI to write an app produces terrible results, so they are trying to do it in smaller scope. It still produces terrible result in smaller scope, but you also have to deal with pieces that are not matching to each other on code that somebody else wrote and I would not take that task if that somebody else was a human, let alone a hallucinating machine.
