AI is slowing down. It doesn't have any new training data, and I'd say more than 20% of the new sludge it's being fed is poisoned or AI generated, (this is not a fact, just my speculation.) AI is not alike other advances, cars didn't use horses as fuel, AI is using human creativity as fuel. Several AI companies are already being sued, and it doesn't look like they're winning. Chances are, it will fade out like NFTs and Crypto.
Of course this is just my opinion, and you're welcome to have your own, but if you wish to look towards a more hopeful future, please consider what I had to say.
