@abillin6398 Current AI like GPT5 has no understanding of what it does, just like a calculator or microwave. This is the main issue I have when I read scare stories of AI as though it will evolve self awareness. Nothing AI does or the way it functions gives me that impression. It just acts as a tool. What worries me far more is how current AI is used by humans. By companies. By the military. You can't be defined as intelligent unless you understand the questions that are asked of you. Current AI understands nothing, it just completes tasks given to it.
