Comparing AI imagery to other forms of digital art is hilarious. For starters, you don't "make" AI art. The AI itself does, so you're not making any art, which immediately means being an AI "artist" is completely contradictory, unless you own the AI. Unlike AI, other forms of digital art actually require you to make the art. If you use AI for art generation, you're pathetic.
