@TARMHeLL That's not AI tho (Neither is the "real AI" to be fair, those are neural network devised algorithms). The thing that separets the two is agency : in the former case, each brushstroke is done with clear intent - whether you paint a single pixel or use a tool to form a gradient. In the later you're giving agency to the neural network, you tell it you want a cloud in the sky, but you don't get to choose it's precise shape or location. Even if you generate thousands of versions to pick from, you're still compromising on your "vision" Also a sidenote, calculation was never the main purpose of a mathematican, they just devised ways to reach an answer. Even in antiquity people used rudimentary analog computers (or yk...slaves) to "crunch the numbers". That's why nobody cared when machines started doing it - it just meant that mathematicans will get more time to do, yk, the actual math (because contrary to what rudimentary math education might lead you to believe, high level math starts only once you pretty much abandon numbers)...Also bunch of people did get pissed, there was a massive controversy when a certain group proved a statement by simply bruteforcing all the possible combinations through a script
