i don't think you really understand. yes, the algorithms behind it are amazingly complex and really cool to study and understand. my industry is being attacked, and I'm being actively pushed out of my own hobby due to AI prompts. literally look at the comment above my "art is genuine slop". my sales in commissions have gone down HEAVILY, i can't get actual criticism on my art online because everyone is too busy gawking at some soulless prompt and saying how much better it is, my art is being STOLEN and used to train these algorithms without my consent and there isn't anything i can't do about it other than putting a couple filters over it and hoping that it'll prevent some AI from using it. AI is taking jobs from people who are already struggling in a hard industry and only making it hard to do it for fun.
