I see your point. Some care only about the finished product and their own entertainment, not what defines art ("the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.")
But many appreciate art for its real value, and if they didn't, they wouldn't keep bashing the idea of using generative AI tools to create pictures labeled as art. Therefore, many care about how you made it. Of course, some will look at it and not question it, unless it's too obvious that it's AI generated.
