@Speaker-Beater yes, and that theory is built upon centuries worth of art works, that's the main thing. Try rising an artist or any other kind of thinker without giving him access to the previously existing knowledge. Letting AI to analyze millions of works directly is just another way for it to learn the said theory of art.
And let's not forget that artists proudly steal from each other all the time. No one cares about originality. It's not even possible anymore because everything in every traditional art forms has been said and done already. The modern art is so helpless with it's attempts at post-modern recompilation of everything, it's actually painful to watch. AI even has more chance to come up with original pieces because it's not bound by art theory dogma and potentially has artwork production performance of "entire human history of art per hour", and the law of big numbers will inevitably bring us everything we could or couldn't ever dream about. If we ever need "art" again, but would we?
