Tell me in detail how a transformer model differs fundamentally from a brain. The biggest differences are the number and speed of processing and we know how transformers work.
The first thing is only scale, not a fundamental property. The second thing is I think what will stop people from accepting a truly aware ai as being conscious.
Oh it only says it's conscious because of these things.
People only say they are conscious because of a few neurones as well. If you accept there's a spectrum with worms at one end, dogs and dolphins somewhere in the middle and humans at the end. At some point ai will be on there, would you accept it if you knew perfectly how it worked?
