Proving that a Tesla doesn't slam into a motorcycle 99% of the time doesn't "prove him wrong".
He's actually doing everyone a service here. Most of his viewers are members of the motorcycle community, and it could literally save bikers lives if they're aware of this issue and take defensive measures.
I'm sure the algorithm is very well written and Tesla engineers are doing their absolute best to make it safe. No one is disputing the fact that the vast majority of the time it works as intended. I think his main takeaway is that it isn't yet at a point where Tesla should be removing fail-safe measures.
The bottom line is that FSD and autopilot provide nothing more than convenience for the driver, and it shouldn't come at the price of other driver's safety, even if it's literally a one in a million chance.
