I personally can’t even fathom 50% of a developed nations workforce unemployed. Not because I don’t believe machines and AI will eventually take over but because the impact it will have on our economy will be so dramatic that it’s hard to imagine. I don’t think the government has a practical plan right now that takes into account a “machine run” future so, I assume that they will just continue to impose restrictions to keep the unemployment rate down. I’m interested to hear what you think!
